Hi I am a listener to your Podcasts in England. I have been struggling for years with my weight and am now in control thanks to your podcasts. I can now answer my inner voices with a no when they are pushing me to eat what I shouldnt for weight loss.

My greater power is my evolving self. I have lost 14lbs now and joined a gym and lost 38 inches of my body. I look in the mirror and see a new me now not the old fat self. I am not so worried now about losing weight it will go when it is ready. I am fitter and healthier now than when I was younger. By the way I am 61 years old. Thank goodness I found your podcast on ITunes it has saved me from getting depressed with my weight to being a much happier person.

This is a really tricky one - I am not usually a believer in higher powers but had to find something to surrender to. Eventually I just gave it up to the universe.

I believe that my higher power is the lord jesus. I have been through some great trial’s not only with my weight, but with many things and I have always gotten through them. I wasn’t always a believer. Only the last couple of years, but I did notice when I did not believe in he who was greater then me I always felt like I was carrying the world on my back, and that when things would come up I felt as though I was the only one in the world dealing with problems, and I was all alone. It helps to know that there is something greater then you and that very power what, or who ever it may be is simply holding your hand and is helping you through it once you notice that they are there.

My higher power is the one and only God of the universe and His son Jesus Christ.
