I am a big fan of alliteration myself! Enjoyment Echo, pretty cool since one of the most important parts is taking a moment to actually enjoy feeling satisfied when you are satisfied. It's the echo - being satisfied and enjoying being satisfied. :)

There really is a point where I have eaten enough to feel perfectly full. Im not hungry anymore, my stomach is not stretched out and hurting and I don't feel overly full. That usually happens when I'm eating the proper portion.

These are good! I like the "intuitive" in M-K's comment. how about "Intuitive Satisfaction" or "Intuitive Fullness"? It's fun to play with this one!

I loved this episode. The Clean Plate Club rang true for me. I have been taking smaller portions but I still have that nagging urge to clean my plate. I will definitely put this method into practice although it may take awhile to fully embrace it.

I had a thought about a name for Portion Control: Body Conscious Eating or Intentional Eating.

Ciao Renee! Just catching up on your podcasts and love the last on the dreaded "portion control". While we all know moderation is necessary, I agree that a sexier term to make the act of eating less is a positive. A few thoughts I had on a new name for portion control based on listening to your podcast #79 are - instinctive satiation, intuitive satiation, controlled satisfaction, freedom to feel satisfied, love the food, not the fullness. You get my drift. Thank you for all you do and have done for me. Still keeping off the 35 lbs after almost 3 years and happy with myself and love my body. Best! M-K

What about "Making each bite an aventure into delectation"?

Renne your podcast is fabulous! I have had so many ah ha's I just can't count them anymore.... Incredible!

I really do think you are on the verge of resolving the weight issue on this planet! certainly in mine!

As I was enjoying my 30 minute daily walk (yes enjoying!), I was meditating on the name of your podcst "inside out weight loss".... and I got it!

I have two wonderful children and the great opportuinity of living a wonderfully separate life from their fathers. So there is the kids week and then the intropective mom week. And as I progressed, I noticed that I was too tired at the end of kid week. Not just tired. Too tired. And this got me to notice the way I "manage" my energy. When the kids are home, it was all OUTSIDE-IN. This would put me down........... Listining to your podcast I started acting INSIDE OUT with me first and now with them. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! What a HEALTY difference. I now can teach them the pleasure of food and respect to their bodies. No more "eat your veggies or else..."

I guess this comes down to your oxygen mask story...

every 2 weeks i get the kids back i see the difference in my attitude towards food and life as well as in theirs. We got beautiful plates anr always present pleasantlty the food on them... mmmm

this is really very important and I thruthfully thank you

sunday morning I even forgot to weigh myself! amazing isn't it?

so i want to thank you !

And I do have a question. I have a food repungance. I just won't get near any type of fish. I have tried getting freindly with it. Small portions or served with lors of chesse but it is not a question of taste (i find it tastes ok) it is just the IDEA of eating fish that revolts me. can t find anything in my past that could explain.... now, i could go on like this BUT now my 9 y.o. daughter does the same! (but she objects to chesse) in her case also, not an taste issue.... Can you help me understand?

Gratefully yours
