Hi Renee

I'm tapping on my guilt ("I don't deserve it"..) and anxiety.
Also, last night I had a nightmare about betrayal and the emotions were so strong that I woke up pretty shaken. I tapped on that immediatly and I felt so much better after that I was able to go back to sleep quite instantly.
Wow.. I am so impressed.

I am eager to identify more things to tap on and eliminate.
Thank you Renee for these mind-relaxing-and-opening journeys. I can't stop listening to your podcasts.

Take good care.

I was really, really skeptical of this EFT thing at first. I kind of only half-listened to the episodes about it, thinking it wasn't for me. But I was really surprised when, just a few days after listening to the first episode on EFT, I came across a weight loss article on a respected website for health and fitness professionals that suggested EFT. So I went back and took the episodes more seriously, and was very pleasantly surprised with my results! I've been using EFT to bring myself back into alignment, often before I overeat (yay!). And I disagree with the listener who referred to it as a kind of mysticism; it seems to me to be as simple as repeating some statements and tapping on a variety of physical points- I feel that the tapping aspect has a calming aspect, in the same way that a massage might.

Anyway, thanks for bringing EFT to our attention, Renee! I've found it to be a really useful tool, and I hope others have as well!

I learned about EFT about 6 months ago, but wasn't really sure how to apply it or if I was doing it right. Thank you for the tutorial!

I wanted to share my recent use of EFT. I had an overeating episode a couple of nights ago, and woke up still feeling very down on myself about it. My inner dialogue was going something like "what's the use? I've binged again. It's no use. I'm going to gain weight." As I took my morning walk, I decided to tap about it and was able to "clear out" the feelings of disappointment, guilt, and hopelessness, and begin anew! In the past, those feelings that so often accompany a binge hangover for me would have led me to continue bingeing. Thank you! I'm going to continue using EFT.

I love your podcast, Renee. I always feel positive and renewed after listening to an episode.

Hi Renee,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your podcasts. They are just exactly what I have been looking for, for years. I totally get it that my weight struggle is connected to my emotions. I just haven't been able to really 'get' the connection. Having your podcasts to listen to over and over and over again, I am finally starting to understand the connections. I really like your focus of 'aligning' all of me to allow the weight to easily and effortlessly come off. I'm not there yet because after a few months of just listening, now I am finally doing the assignments and making the personal connections.
My initial reaction to EFT was, humpf, I'm not doing that. But then I decided to be open-minded and I believe, truly believe, that facing my negative emotions and letting them be, is key for me. Knowing that hunger is just a feeling, not a command or a crisis situation, allows me to act more rationally around food at those times of the day when I just want to fill myself up. EFT has given me a simple way to face my fear of doing without late night eating-and to face the fact that I need to find something else-healthful yet satisfying- to fill myself up with.
This seems to be a breakthrough time for me, and so I feel as if I could go on and on about what I am gaining from your show, but I will just mention that I so much appreciate the tools or skills of 'redo', Self-Correction, and Continuous Improvement. They make me feel in control and safe about losing weight now because they are concrete - non-emotional responses to making better decisions about how to live my life with food and a bonus is that I can use these skills in other areas of my life as well.
Thank you, Renee. Please know that you and your efforts are so very appreciated.

Thanks for your honest feedback Rebecca. I think you are referring to EFT? I'm not sure because of your reference to mysticism and ritual.

If it is EFT, here are my comments. I know that not everything is for everybody. EFT has greatly benefitted me personally, and most of my clients. I too thought it was too wierd when I first learned it, and didn't begin to recommend it until I had a personal breakthrough with it.

That said, it sounds like it's not for you, so I encourage you to "take what you like and leave the rest".

Thanks for your support so far and best wishes as you tune into exactly the right things for you.

Hi Renee:

This is the first part of your podcasts that is really turning me off. I've been a big fan up until now, and have recommended your podcasts to a number of people, but now I'm feeling a little embarrassed about that. From now on I'm going to qualify my recommendation with the suggestion that they stop listening at episode 40. I'm a very rational person, and one of the things I've really liked about your approach until you started in on EFT is that it all makes sense and does not require the suspension of disbelief or buying into anything mystical or supernatural. I haven't felt that way about the last few podcasts. I recognize that some people feel that they benefit from connections to mysticism and rituals, but others don't, and you're losing me. When you ask for comments on something, you are unlikely to hear from the people who don't like it, but I suspect you are losing some fans with this particular detour and that you might want to know that.

Hi Renee,
I've been using EFT for over a year. It's really something to see you bring it up as I was using it to help myself along with your great (really great!) podcasts. I find that it does work for cravings, but often I resist even trying it (too funny, it seems I'm OK with satisfying my cravings rather than eliminating them! good information to have).

When you said you had completed a series on EFT, do you mean upcoming IOWL episodes?

Thanks a million for being there and being on top of all the tools that can help us.
