Hi Renee, I am also a new listener and learning a lot.
The positive intent information REALLY brought it home for me...BOTH sides are trying to do something to help me, it's just that one side thinks that eating right and exercise is helpful and the other side thinks snuggling up with snack and relaxing with down time and a treat is helpful. So NEXT time I find myself 'needing' that snack, I will ask myself - why? what is the intent? am I truly hungry or do I just need some alone/down time. And then I will give myself what I really need instead of medicating with food.

I'm not very far along in the series but I am getting a lot out of it. Thank you.

Hi Renee, I am a new listener and I am really exicited to learn more about future episodes...and that is, really a good sign. :)

Well, I really got a lot out of this episode. Or so I thought. I "channeled" the part of me who had objections against the new, improved me. I thanked it, I asked it for the gift, I got an answer - kind of.

Its about saftey and love. Its a little bit simplified but its about being protected of the mean people who will say cruel things, who do not love me. Also its about having a natural barrier, keeping a distance.Well, with men especially. THIS is me, and you will not intrude my space....
Sorry for this mess, I am not a native speaker plus its not easy to describe anyway...

I felt aligned...and determinated to lose the weight, to go for the long run...

Well, after having a 2hour bike ride with a friend, I went to the supermarket. You have to know, I talked about my issue with sweets and how I cannot buy more, because it is all gone in one ore two sittings...Well, Julia - my friend - suggested to maybe portion it like: you icecream are monday, u pudding are tuesday....etc etc
I said, "ok, maybe I give it a try..."
WEll, I went to the store, and bought me some fruits I wanted to have, I bought 3 joghurt desserts and 5 ice-creams.
All having a low calorie intake - about 95 calories each.

And so I went home, thinking "first, I will drink my water, because I am thirsty, then I will eat the delicious fruits because I love them and then and only then I will eat one out of the sweets."
I went home and ate it all!!- no fruits of course - I also ate pasta which I especially had to cook and I didnt even like very much.

Well,WHAT does that tell me? I did not consume a crazy amount of calories, BUT it was binging. And I did not stop.
I wonder WHY I did this. Alignment and all.....
Would love to know the reason.....I am confused right now...
What does THIS part of me trying to give me here, what to tell?Where IS the positive intent here?

Liebe Grüße from Vienna,
