Inside Out Weight Loss: Aligning Mind, Body and Spirit for Lasting Change

Episode 2: Dreams of Diet Success

In the last episode, we built up your away from motivation- the things that get you going, just to avoid them, like the jeans that refuse to zip. Today, learn why it’s so important to document where you are before you start any diet or change program. Hear the story of how one man forgot how he had ended his potato chip compulsion, and how a woman is using her weight loss success to start the business of her dreams.

Now it’s time for the fun stuff – dreaming the dream that will pull you towards it, whether it’s diet success, freedom from food, motivation to move, or just plain old feeling good in your skin. And while we’re at it, learn the secret of getting kids to do what you want. Also, discover why trying to go back to the way you were when you were last slim won’t help you today, and what will.

    Hi there,

    I love your poscasts.
Please in your coming podcasts focus on boredom eating. For me it’s a great problem. But I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Thanks for your request. I will work it in to a future episode! Note that boredom eating is often a sign of self sabotage - a symptom of underlying issues. We’ll be covering shortly!

I really liked the part about not thinking back to when you were slim, but focus on how you are now and will be in the future as slim. It made me realize that that it was 8 years ago in which I was strong, fit and slim and that I can’t be that woman again. Now I can put my energy into discovering who I’ll be now at age 46 as a slim, strong and healthy woman. Thank you.

I have just found this podcast and think it is so wonderful and positive! It has already helped me with my overeating in just 2 episodes. I went out to eat with my husband last night and did not overeat or drink. YAHOOOOO!
